You must be joking. Plastering the Edsel front end on the thing would be an improvement over the beak...

The 2008 Acura TL is an amazing car. I have one. It sold well. The 2009 was the debut of the beak, and the “walk away” from the brand rate was staggering.

You can match the decline of Nissans to their embracing of the CVT. Weirdly it’s not just the CVT that make the cars terrible, but that certainly doesn’t help anything.

Make no mistake, the mid 90's maximas were GREAT cars that were worth every penny. We had a Stanza from 1990 that punched way above it’s weight against the Camry and Accord of its day. But now? Simply awful.

Second gear: Nissan and Mitsubishi are both in deep, deep trouble. The cars Nissan has been cranking out the last few years are comprehensively terrible. We had a rental Altima two summers ago that was vastly outshined by a 1999 Camry with 230k miles that we borrowed after returning the Altima. Given the choice, if

I had a non-supercharged Eddie Bauer explorer back in the day. At 150k miles it was on its fourth transmission, the transfer case had been rebuilt, and Stuff broke weekly.

I spent a lot of time playing Far Cry 2. But I never finished it. Never got close. I reached the point where if I had to clear the same batch of baddies in the same intersection one. more. time. I was going to take up arms and do something bad.

I was not looking for a convertible per se, but I wasn’t against it either. Now that I’ve owned one (a 99 M3) I don’t see myself ever going back. It’s just ... better. I don’t care if it is .0000003 seconds slower around the Nurburgring, I drive country roads in rural Pennsylvania where the higher the rate of speed,

Perhaps. But we have a bigger issue with performance cars saddled with an automatic transmission. CP

This thing would be an easy NP with a stick. Automatic? CP!

Back in the Dreamcast days my son and his friends accidentally erased my Test Drive LeMans saves. I had won every race, every car, unlocked every track, done absolutely everything including the 6 hour version of the LeMans race and was about 12 hours into the full 24 hour long race that was the final masterpiece jewel

I’m not saying Philly to Pittsburgh is odd. I’m saying it’s odd that the Hyperloop would go from Chicago to PA and stop in Pittsburgh and go no farther east.

Philly to Chicago would get a ton of usage. And you can pickup the Acela in Philly (I think) and connect up to Boston or down to DC. Odd to stop in Pittsburgh. The Keystone and Pennsylvanian lines (Amtrak) end in Harrisburg, so going at least that far east would connect you with the rest of the system.

Ah the sweet sweet shape of financial ruin. I want one SO BAD.

Sorry I’m so late to this thread. I went to races there up to the very last one. It was bizarre. One weekend we are watching races having a great time, and then I read in the paper it has closed permanently. No warning at all.

A silver minivan. Those things come with a cloaking device from the factory. You could drive 100 mph past a cop in a school zone and they won’t blink. Nobody notices a silver minivan. Ever.

The Mass Effect universe is my favorite universe ever. The diversity of races, the size and scope of the worlds to explore, the whole thing is amazing. I played every bit of every game and their DLC, including the wretched Pinnacle Station. ME1 is the only game in my lifetime where I watched the final credits and hit

That is absolutely awesome.

When United dropped to a 30" seat pitch on their new planes my knees are physically crushed against the plastic in front of me. I am not exaggerating, it’s excruciating. I signed up for a Delta frequent flyer account and made the switch. I will not fly United or any airline again with a seat pitch of 30" or less. It’s
