I read a ton of comics actually. I don’t think King is a particularly good writer and I think Mr. Miracle evinces some of his worst tendancies disguised by some great art and stylish layouts (that owe something to Watchmen, interestingly).

Moore has also famously denounced the movie versions of his work, which would seem like kind of a snotty position to take if the movies based on his comics weren’t largely awful.

She was great in the best season of Justified, and yeah she’s way too good for a Tim Allen sitcom.

I am so glad that Kaitlin Dever turned down going back to that Tim Allen sitcom as a regular when it got revived, and instead bet on herself being able to get better roles than that, as she has done w/ this and Booksmart.

In fairness to the GOP, is there a better way of displaying your patriotism and love for Americ, other than spending $90 million on an insane July 4th parade and blocking funding for 9/11 first responders? I don’t think so.
