You're still doing it better than a lot of Americans.
That's a museum piece right there. If I had a museum I might be interested. Crack Pipe for much else.
I know lots of people hate Moore but this is a pretty good explanation of why that will never happen.
I'm not good at this game. There doesn't seem to be much logic in the cars I try to save. They are never valuable or in particularly good shape to begin with. But it's easier for me to justify trying to make a crappy car better than it is to pay the price to get a nice one to begin with and then try to preserve it.…
I still have nightmares about my Shelby Chargers. I ended up with 3 and still didn't have the parts to keep one going. Previous to my Vette they were about the most problematic vehicles I ever had. Doors sprung, hinges were welded so they were difficult to repair or replace, shifter linkage had a tendency to just…
I see decent ones around here every once in a while. If I had the resources and some place to put the thing I would have to think seriously about buying this evil looking bitch... [lansing.craigslist.org]
At one point I believe the wipers were vacuum operated too (different year). ick. I believe some of the big Mercedes in the 60's had nightmare vacuum powered locks and such but I've just heard it, never actually seen them. I still haven't quite figured out what I'm going to do but that shits coming out.
My car is in very bad shape. There's not much left of any of the systems. The lines are rotted, parts are missing. It would be easier to eliminate it than repair it. But I'm still trying to get it running so it's a moot point.
Because none of it works on mine. I don't know how the hell it ever worked...
The vacuum diagram for the C3 Vette and primary reason my headlights are stuck in the up position.
Sometimes you'll see people try to sneak down the shoulders in Michigan but it's pretty rare and they may have a reason (who knows?). I've never seen someone drive the wrong way but I have seen them go across the median, both successfully and unsuccessfully. I actually saw someone get busted once and a cop blocked…
If I remember my Hot Wheels trivia correctly the Redline "Ramblin Wrecker" had the designers home phone number on it. They had put it on the prototype kind of as a joke and it made it through to production.
Same dealer is pushing the Delta for $12,495.
It was just my immediate reaction. So yeah, in a scatterbrained "oh shit, mine's not cool looking" way it did to me.
What tribe you with... Chad?
It appears that he has a friend with a spray painted Maybach. It also appears he potentially has the M3, a Humvee, and possibly an R8 - maybe more. Between that and looking at mom, I think it's safe to say he comes from money.
That's pretty cool. Can't imagine there's a bunch of them but I like it.
