He'd have to sit on it sidesaddle or it would be inappropriate... ;)

I've seen a LOT of Bill Hicks, I believe it is Tosh also.

Berger has been around a good many years and was instrumental in getting cars like COPO models out in public and on the track in the 60's. You could go to Berger and order anything you want. And to some extent, I think they still will take a giant crate motor and stick it in a new car if you want to pay for it.

House Republicans are in negotiations with Nissan to use the boxes as condos for the homeless.

And that's the problem with most cartoons in a nutshell. They are just glorified commercials. How about you make something of quality and then worry about how to market it instead? You got the cart 1/2 mile in front of the horse. Nah, that's too much work. Screw you people. Like Bill Hicks said - If you're in

I loved the old GEO Metros for the same reason. Flat out everywhere, heat in 30 seconds in dead winter, great gas mileage. You can feel like you are driving like a maniac but nobody else ever notices. 10/10ths is a hoot in these things.

Sure, rich people have "teams" to restore basket case cars. All I have is one barely sane mechanic with a really bad eye tic (now) to keep my POS out of the junkyard. The Life of Reilly and all that.

One of my first cars was a beater 2002. Will always love that car. You had to be careful with that package shelf on the dashboard. If you took a left too hot it would launch sunglasses and smokes right out the passenger window. Every damn time.

That's not luxury, this is luxury... Strangely enough wanted about $12K for this too. But for the price it had some raggedy trim issues. On the plus side I think it only had about 20K miles.

The Manta was a more handsome car, in my opinion.

X-11!!!

I still can't shake GM's use of the Nova name for the crappy Toyota product. I'm torn on the Vega thing. I've seen good ones, I've had bad ones. Like everything else they almost had it fixed just before they quit making it. The last wagons were almost Monzas but not quite.

Used to work with a guy that put towels over his floor mats. That's right, the floor mats were not enough. He needed something to protect the floor mats. He was kind of an anal retentive ass. Said he was "protecting his investment". I said "you picked a lousy investment".

Vega Vega Vega! I had a Vega. It really was a likable little car, you know other than being a piece of crap. It wasn't Delorean's fault. Fuckin' GM bean counters. I got a lot of points in that little rust bucket. What great fun.

I immediately pictured the big stunt scene with the rocket car from Hooper. Just never know when a Burt Reynolds movie might prove important.

She was also known for cutting cars in half with a chainsaw on stage.

Check out The Plasmatics and the video "The Damned". I'm not going to bother trying to link it.

Kinda sad. It's still better looking than mine is. sniff.

Always a particularly fascinating argument. I especially like the vehemence of the anti-American built crowd. Having had multiple Hondas, Toyotas and a DSM I've always found them fussy and expensive to repair/maintain. The Honda Civic in particular had a ridiculously expensive exhaust system. I have an Element now

If corporate America is pushing for the TPP then it's probably a very bad thing for most everybody else. It's a standard rule that almost always applies.
