You are too kind.
You are too kind.
Yeah but I keep trying. I'll either get it right or it will kill me.
It's also one of the reasons that I don't like 3 and 4 year product cycles. That's why I believe some alternators cost $400 and some cost $80. God help you if you need one that was only manufactured for a year or two.
The little heart was a particularly nice touch, I thought.
I have no words. It's.... it's beautiful. sniff.
My wife's boyfriend had a Harley so I put a Harley sticker on my truck to remind me there was no reason to go home. I've never had one. I did however reduce all of our community property down to convenient trash bag sized rubble. It made it easier to split up... ;-) He's dead now and she hasn't had a permanent…
Con Air. Not a great movie but fun to watch Buscemi and Malkovich chew up the scenes.
My father worked for one of the local GM plants around where these were built. The part that nobody ever mentions is that GM could not let the cars go. They were all hand built and there was not a parts base for them. For production vehicles law requires that parts be available for 10 years (If memory serves). …
My personal favorite - Define irony. Bunch of idiots dancing on a plane to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash.
I like it. A lot. Maybe not $13G's worth of like. But given the money I've dumped into a salvage Corvette, I'm not a good judge of these things. Given it's shape I'll say it's too high a starting price, no breathers on engine etc. It should at least look good under the hood for that price. If I'm starting with…
Wow, he's not very good. Like to get him on an empty road and goad him into over-driving it into a tree. Macho assholes are so easy. Once got a Mustang GT driver to spin it out into the median on a wet freeway at night. I was driving a 4 cylinder Probe. Don't know where he was going with that.
I don't understand the fuss. The Cobalt is on the Delta platform. It's almost the same car.
But it's white. And framed. And still there.
Thanks, it should level out Sunday and Monday. And I don't have to work next week if I don't feel like it. Maybe I'll get my Vette back and do some hooning. Well, gentle hooning until I get the motor broke in.
I'll be driving alright. Roughly 40 mile jaunts = work to animal hospital, take dog from animal hospital (hopefully today!) to lady friend house, lady friend house to main town to rent 26' box truck, move 8 month 2 week pregnant daughter to new little town (hopefully her stuff will fit too!), return box truck get…
"Cherry AMC" is mutually exclusive. They were parts bin cars at their very best. I like me some oddness more than the average freak but not to the tune of $17G's. Couple more thousand miles you'll need that AMC 2x4 to hold the seat backs up (you old people remember).
I'm not prejudiced.
I like Reep, he's an odd duck.
For being a good sport and starting one of the more humorous threads today.
Heh.
