There are very few situations where the giant tires are helpful and in fact not a detriment. If you look at most utility vehicles that really need to go anywhere you'll find most of them have tall (relatively) skinny tires. It's basically less useful then stock as it sits.

Here's a much nicer '98 with the V8 and it's down to $8500. Throw some TA's on it and it will still get around better than this turd.

Oh hell yeah. I've had 2 of the DOHC 3.0 Duratecs and I like them a lot. Boost one and stuff it in fiberglass? I'm there. Not too crazy about the wing on the wing but silly wings are a minor concern when your head is plastered to the back glass.
