I have tried, but I still can’t understand the “I love Bernie, which means I hate Hillary so much I’ll vote for Trump” process.

I completely disagree. He’s waiting because he wants to move her policy as much to the left as possible, which is important to our country and to getting more millennials to actually vote for her. It’d be shitty if he ran indie for president, but he’s definitely not doing that.

Run indie/join the Green Party? Not that I expected either to happen because he made it clear that he wasn’t going to try to screw over the Dems because he genuinely cares about our country, but there were some supporters hoping for that.

If your goal is to ‘encourage’ Dems who supported Bernie to make sure Trump doesn’t win by getting on board with HRC, then denigrating and insulting them is not a very effective strategy. Make your case and leave it at that, without rudeness. It’s your best shot.
