Do you normally call people who you don’t know, and hopefully interview, a bitch? That just seems counter-productive.
You seriously don’t understand her position? Yeah, you don’t get to decide how she feels about being called a derogatory term. Get over yourself. I’d be annoyed too if anyone called me a bitch.
This will no never get out of the grays, but, seriously, Natasha, you shouldn’t have “affectionately” called her a “bitch”. And getting all defensive about it when a commenter complains about it doesn’t suit your argument well.
It may have been, but she clearly didn’t take it as such (and you must see that it’s not immediately obvious as such), and when she made it clear she didn’t like the term you didn’t actually apologise.
The levels of condescension in that tweet are staggering.
Sucks she wouldn’t do an interview. This probably didn’t help!
Wow, Natasha Vargas-Cooper called this “lady” (I hate the word lady) a “bitch” on Twitter. She meant it as a “term of affection,” but ugh. I mean... ugh. Why do I read Jezebel.
American Communists during the early years of the 20th century were pro-equality. The idea of making women and non-whites equal to white males was one of the main motivation behind the anti-commie red scare.
Also start using the term “deliberate” more often.
The original communist theorists argued that race was a social construction used to exploit the periphery, and that human progress could only be possible if distinctions based on race (or gender, or ethnic background) were erased. All governments that adopted it were of course racist (and sexist and elitist) as fuck,…
It’s glossing over someone’s problematic actions just because they happen to be progressive when it comes to LBGT issues.
I’m with you on this!
You know, we can have more than one hero at a time.
They are both cool heroes.
As a mentally ill person I want to bake this woman an amazing cake. This man is not mentally ill, and that would just be a way for Fox and even progressive outlets to ignore the changes and evolution that has occurred in American racism.
Not sure I could love this comrade more.
