Yup. The crazies don’t think so around here at least.

C-sections are real births though, right? just not from the point of view of crazies.

It's a heritable collagen defect that causes extremely weakened blood vessels in the case of the vascular type. Being pregnant at all at 49 is high risk. Being pregnant with vascular at 49 is pretty much suicidal. I have EDS type 3, for reference.

EDIT: Lilly has corrected me, it was in the article. I no read well. So Yes, I know i fucked up and didn’t read the whole thing, i don’t need 100 replies telling me, thank you.

Remember Scott Peterson. He was at the search gathering as well.

It seems like the window would be awfully tight if he wasn’t there when the daughter left and she was only gone for 10 minutes. Unless he was lurking. Even though it is so often the father this doesn’t have that feel.

I’m hoping I’m totally wrong but I don’t think she’s with us anymore. I think the baby’s father did this and may be on the lam or dead as well. This is statistically the most likely scenario. People don’t just not show up to their c sections when they cannot deliver naturally without dying. Horrible.

Wait, she took her cellphone...? They can’t just track it by triangulating the towers it connects to...?

She has stated categorically this is absolutely not a re-creation of what she claims occurred.

I watched it live on NESN and I can’t get the scream out of my head. It was so awful. Hope she pulls through. Can’t even begin to imagine how her family and Brett Lawrie feel.

Aw, hell. It was bad enough already... I hope she’ll pull through.

Yeah, maybe should take these videos down. I mean, BPL had to carry off a child that was with her, now say she may not make it.

I'm at the game now. It seemed like she was at the game with her young son. A police officer was holding her son as she was getting wheeled off. It was an incredibly sad scene. Hope she is okay.

That picture makes it look like it’s from agony. That looks brutal.

Samer, according to WHDH, the injuries are life threatening.

Wow, quick on the blame considering how fast that freaking bat is moving.

People have been seriously injured many, many times, and they haven’t done it yet. I met a young man in the hospital once who’d been hit by a ball at a Red Sox game. He lost his eye and had to have all of the bone around its orbit, his cheekbone, his jaw, and most of his teeth replaced with metal and whatever else

I’ve told this here before but I was at a Diamondbacks game in around ‘99 or so and saw almost the exact same happened. It was on the first base side and the woman was sitting probably 10 rows up. Can’t remember who it was but a lefty on the other team just lost his grip on a swing-and-miss and sent the bat flying

Even if you are paying attention, there’s always a chance for disaster. The Pirates had a coach, Don Long, who was seriously injured from a broken bat, and he was also watching the batter swing. Stuff happens sometimes

With respect, those are the ‘heads up’ seats. You watch every play because it’s dangerous not to.
