Who was the person who called the cops? How do we know that the caller wasn’t lying? That they were just annoyed to see him standing outside selling CDs, so to get the cops to arrive in a hurry, they lied and said he was threatening with a gun? When she stated that she was not of seniority, does that give her the right to dismiss the importance of the employee’s request? I’ve had a piece of crap of a supervisor like that before. Micromanages, lazy, condescending, you name it. Admins typically get treated like this or anyone in a support role unfortunately.

Amen to this!! I think many of us can say that we are making decisions in our lives and careers. She isn’t the only one. It’s like implying that women who aren’t rich, wealthy and famous AREN’T making decisions in their careers in a take charge kinda way.
