I would've liked to see a Paternoster Gang spin-off from Doctor Who. I don't know if it was ever a real possibility, although some say The Crimson Horror was meant to serve as a backdoor pilot.

Indeed. I'm a little disappointed they didn't bring it up in the interview, since acting for video games is very different from acting for film or TV.

It does feel like something out of Are You Afraid of the Dark?, albeit with more swearing.

I agree with Katy Perry. I think we should be able to vote naked if we want to. ;) In all seriousness, I think you technically can vote naked in Oregon because you're allowed to mail in your ballot in that state.

I don't watch Portlandia but I have to admit I love it when people who say they're being stereotyped play into those exact same stereotypes. It's like they have no idea what irony is.

Thanks for including the Amy Adams bathtub scene. I haven't seen the movie (not being a Zack Snyder fan) but that was some sexy stuff.

Not too surprising. I thought the show made a compelling case. I for one never bought the intruder theory. I'd always wondered if Burke was the killer but could never work out a plausible scenario until this show reexamined the evidence. By the way, I notice Lin Wood is very vocal on his twitter account where he

Personally, I don't listen to anything Aja Romano says. I know that's an ad hominem but she's said and done too many things that cross a line with me. She attacks people on a deeply personal level on twitter. She’s also been accused of being overly sympathetic towards a man who’s guilty of fraud, theft, abuse and

There's a Doctor Who audio drama with a character named Queenie Glasscock. I'd say that's at or near the top of my list.

Does anyone know what film the waterbed scene is from?

I bet some people can't eat cotton candy without thinking of a naked Katy Perry. ;)

I remember back in February they announced that Melissa Hunter of Adult Wednesday Addams fame had been cast as Mary Shelley in this web series. But she's been replaced, probably because she was working on Maya & Marty. Which is a damn shame because she would've been reason enough for me to watch this.

I see. But if this keeps blowing up, they'll have to name him eventually, I would think.

Possibly but once it's out there, it's out there and there's not much point in pretending like no one knows who it is.

I'm a little curious as to why the AVClub is refraining from using the alleged serial rapist's name. I mean, it's very easy to find so it's not exactly a secret. (It's Aaron Glaser, by the way).

I watched Maya & Marty because Melissa Hunter was one of the writers. She's best known for playing Adult Wednesday Addams. I also might have a bit of a crush on her. ;) Same goes for Emma Stone. I would've liked to see a sketch where she turns to stone. I mean, come on, that premise practically writes itself.

Harry Potter isn't entirely over and done with. The Fantastic Beasts movie is planned to be the first in a trilogy. So it's at least theoretically possible that an LGBT character could be included in the sequels. I also wouldn't go so far as to call the revelation that Dumbledore is gay "insulting". When she said

I never said that Harry Potter is "only for straight kids". It's just that I find it somewhat ridiculous that people are demanding J.K. Rowling include LGBT characters when numerous other franchises have already done so. Frankly, I think those people are missing the point of Harry Potter. HP has never been primarily

Thanks for not letting us know that the Harry Potter comic contains some mild spoilers for Cursed Child. Also, that comic seems to assume that Harry Potter is the only popular media franchise on Earth. Is J.K. Rowling solely responsible for queer representation in the media? Or are there plenty of other stories out

Definitely. I know Alexander Payne's reputation has taken a hit as of late but I don't think that's a good enough reason to keep it off the list.
