You know, for once I'd like to see an article about a Woody Allen movie that doesn't bring up these baseless allegations. Or would that not get as many hits?

Well, I help edit it and while I don't agree with every decision they make, I do think it's a good resource for fans who don't know much about the expanded Whoniverse.

I didn't realize that it wasn't solely Miles' work. By all means, go ahead and read the works of those people. I'd just have reservations about recommending a book that was written by Miles alone.

That may be true but that's something JNT's partner did, not JNT himself. I don't think we should boycott 80s Who because of the producer's dating habits. That's guilt by association. Miles, on the other hand, has been vicious and unprofessional all by himself.

I wonder if Mr. Hughes is aware that Lawrence Miles has said some pretty nasty things about fellow Who writers (particularly Steven Moffat) in a decidedly vicious and unprofessional way. If he was, I would hope he'd think twice before recommending any of his books.

Hi! I know this a very late reply but I too was once in a similar situation. That is, I also went through a film program and it was an utterly miserable experience. It was an undergraduate program but your description of the one you went through triggered some bad memories. It wasn't at Syracuse University, was it? I
