James...you made The Terminator. Titanic. Aliens. The Abyss. True Lies. Why, why do you have to hang your hat on this uninspired, boring franchise? You fuckin’ went into the Mariana Trench for fuck’s sake, and the thing you want to be remembered for is Avatar? 

Finally, a sequel show that makes sense. Netflix will give it a season before ruthlessly canceling it. At least we’ll have that, I guess.

It’s not my favorite Trek series, mostly because of the inconsistent writing and a lack of focus on the wider cast ensemble. I also thought it leaned too much into Trek’s unfortunate Small Universe Syndrome problem, at least initially.

It’s a mark of how effective that film was that even though I know (hope?) it was complete fiction, there’s no way I’m saying even once let alone five times you know what into a mirror.

Maybe less pro-fascist than anti-Democrat. I suspect if most of the red half of America had to actually live under a Republican fascist regime, they’d hate it.

If people don’t watch, it will go away. Same with all the other garbage tv (the Bachelor, the Masked Singer, etc.). People are stupid. This is why when given a choice between democracy and fascism, 46% of the country is solidly pro-fascist (although they get mad at the word).

Really? They never should have had one in the first place. Vacuous nothings. 

Whose imposing anything? Ice Cube made a choice not to get vaccinated. This production chose not to hire him because of that choice. No one was forced to do anything.

I think I’m ready to say that I really don’t get the appeal of Dril. I’ve read a bunch of his tweets and I think I see what he’s going for, but it just doesn’t do it for me. Still, godspeed to anyone mocking Musk.

All I know is that this is quite possibly one of the most heartwarming shots in all of cinema.

God this show is awesome. I loved Peacemaker but no Superhero show with more than 1 season has been as great as Doom Patrol has been.

It’s insane to think they’d recast T’Challa in this timeline. Chadwick Boseman was titanic in that role. Recentering the movie around the other characters' grief was a masterstroke, and the only real way forward.
