There’s A LOT of people on TMC, Tesla’s own forums, and the Tesla subreddit that were waiting for a 100 kWh battery to be released to either order or upgrade from their existing units. This will drive quite a few orders.

Us citizens are already fat. Even with pokemon go they will use their Electric Chairs and other special apps to get fatty))))

All in the process of doing things that has not been done before. Amazon and Apple both went through it.

Damn Daniel this is outstanding. One of the best things I’ve read during this election cycle. Bravo on an excellent and well-timed piece.

They could start with just building one Passat. Not a different one for the US. Yes, tune things differently, have different trim, etc etc, but there’s no point building a whole new car for the US market. Or, if the Euro-Passat is too expensive to produce for the US market, re-badge the Skoda Superb.

At the Copa...Copacabana.

I get that you dislike Tesla, but you are applying a lot of double standards.

Mercedez just pulled their ad for the e class because it was marketed as fully autonomos

Ok, here’s what bothers me about this whole “Beta” issue: Several other manufacturers have autosteer/lane holding and traffic aware cruise control systems (BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Volvo) that don’t really do anything different than Tesla’s Autopilot system, and yet by most journalist reviews, Tesla’s system performs

So, unwrapping all of this, is it possible to say that the semi made an unsafe left hand turn into oncoming traffic?

*shrug* It doesn’t matter whether or not testing is required at the state (or local) level. This is a violation of federal law (Clean Air Act).

Elon Musk must be laughing his ass off at Mercedes right now.

Chelsea Clinton says if Hillary wins, Bill might like to be called “First Laddie.”

You say “lots” yet I only count about 10 employees that left over two years. Give or take 5 more. For a company that currently has 750 employees (per Wikipedia), that doesn’t seem like very many at all.

Don’t you think “lots” is a tad bit of hyperbole? I know if we had 15 employees leave over two years, it would be

Dunkaroos were almost the greatest thing ever, second only to these guys:

More optimistically, Pokémon Go has shown huge potential for other Nintendo smart apps, and there’s also the NX around the corner.

Wait, Ryan Lochte can learn?

A fan of the Tesla Model S and its Autopilot capabilities, the driver Joshua D. Brown posted more than 20 videos to YouTube that demonstrated his Tesla’s self-driving abilities.

This is not Elon’s first encounter with the NTSB.

The NTSB does a fine job of investigating and reporting. With the overwhelming amount of data a Tesla collects and the fact that this guy probably had his own dash cam running, this will definitely be a thorough report.
