dude, if you have a savings account with money in it at all, pay off that credit card debt immediately.

As a disabled person, I find it very difficult to see all the sympathy parents get in these situations, because I know if my parents chose to kill me, they’d get sympathy, too. (And possibly little or no jail time. Also, many people who kill their disabled kids are not dealing with money problems - they just can’t

A lot of disabled people have spoken out about this phenomenon. Needless to say, it’s pretty terrifying to see, especially when the child and the person have the same disability.

I’d like to see one post on Jezebel that sympathises with a man killing his children over the inability to cope with X, Y, or Z. Ain’t happening. Yet people are contorting themselves to come up with reasons why this mother was ‘driven to it’. Give me a fucking break.

This woman murdered her five year old son. I’m sure she felt she was in a hopeless position but let’s not forget the fact that she made the decision to take her son’s life as well as her own.

Can we cut the sympathy “poor mom of a disabled kid” bullshit? I’m already seeing it in the comments. Killing your child is not okay. This mother is no more sympathetic than a mother (or father!) who kills her able bodied child because of stress or whatever other reason.

For real. Channing Tatum as The Crow?? Um, no.

Bradley Cooper had once been rumored to be stepping in the role of Lee’s Eric Draven, as had Tom Hiddleston, James McAvoy and Channing Tatum.

Even the case of the week: Fine, it’s a knockoff of the Cosby story, but it has to connect back to Fitz because he’s giving the guy a medal. WHY IS THAT PART NECESSARY, SHONDA?!?!?!?!

As I recall it happened offscreen while Olivia was on the island.

It's not fair! I teach Thursday nights. If I talk fast like Shondaland and Aaron Sorkin characters, will my class still absorb the info?

Would you consider that all the well thought out responses that would also be deleted? If you’re still uncomfortable, yes. I feel like the open dialog is a good thing, but I also understand that a discussion about a child isn’t purely academic. It’s emotional as well.

I am looking forward to getting it, too! I was actually a little bummed when I realized I have a fun trip planned with my friends this weekend and I probably won’t have time to read it until next week. I see these friends once a year if I’m lucky, so it was a really silly thought, but that’s how excited I am for this

He's a world class troll who loves to come to jezebel and stir the pot, usually beginning with you jezzies...

There are certainly ways a 12-year-old can wind up wanting to have sex with an adult. Usually that involves the 12-year-old being desperate for any sort of affection, and/or being “groomed” by the adult. Most 12-year-olds will have crushes (sometimes on much older people), but not fully understand or be interested in

Wanna guess how many of those kids were sexually assaulted/molested?

Do you think normal men have sex with 12 year olds? Do you think normal, sane men have sex with anyone in the bathroom of a cvs? Do you think normal men take their dicks out in public? This person is disgusting, and a predator.

“That’s how they getcha!”

A 12 year old may imitate adult behavior, or a child may learn over-sexualized behavior as a result of repeated sexual abuse. That should not be confused with mature sexual desire.

I agree. “Lured” covered it. It almost seems political “Like don’t worry folks, not a violent crime wave here, nothing to see”. I wonder if he’s an investigator or one of the police who handle the media.
