Idiot salesmen are the only ones that would want to work for Subaru/Toyota and make idiot-worthy commissions of 100-200 per car. The salespeople that know what they're doing will quickly move up to higher margin luxury brands. It sucks but, unless it changes, don't expect to be "sold" much when buying cheap cars.
