Don’t most people get Daycare recommendations from friends or family? I would never get anything for my kid - Daycare, pediatrician, summer day Camps, Early intervention, whatever- from a website. I would assume these sites aren’t trustworthy. 

If my husband would say “Woman, you know better than this” I would probably start to laugh because I would assume he was joking. The fact that this was a serious statement on his part... its honestly hard for me to imagine. I really don’t know too many men like this.

It really, in most likelihood, will be OK. It won’t be FUN but its usually not these nightmarish scenarios either. Just do yourself a favor and get the epidural. There is no one handing out medals afterwords if you don’t get one. And it makes a world of a difference.
