I use cheap and good enough when I go places where I am concerned about the gadget.. I take a 2002 digital camera with me to places where I might break it. I do use alot of old gadgets when i am afraid I might break them.

my concern with cloud computing is when my internet isnt working.. or when I'm away from my desk.. I dont have the money for 3G data cards..

Well... Im only a high school student.. So a majority of my paycheck is going to college savings.. The remaining goes to my social life, and the rest goes to purchases(computer equipment, electronics, CDs, DVDs)

I love Digsby.. been using it since you needed an invite code to get a registration with Digsby.. Cannot imagine moving away from it

Photoshop is great for editing. picasa is great for organizing

@snowmoon: Well I would have to wait 2 years... Just added another two to the contract. But it does come in handy in the event comcast's internet goes down(it did about 6 months ago for 5 days) and my parents work at home, so they switched there internet to teh dial up(2 lines) and there cells were for work calls.

I would be afraid of knocking that HDD over where its located.

For me its:

@theblackdog: I live near DC and get service everywhere. Even in the Baltimore tunnel. On the subway was amazing for me, I needed to text my Mom to tell her to leave to get me from the subway and I still get service down there. Verizon is ftw around here.

I would say windows home server... but you need a 70GB HDD to install it on. My internal im trying to set up is only 40.. I want my external to be my storage device...

@JuniorAndTorrie: If it has the name windows in it, its generally software. Windows Home Server is just software...

Vote: Apache

@FRIEDjellyWALNUT: I want to try that, but I need a bigger internal drive... And Im not sure if my PC can run it.
