Thanks for writing this article. Especially mentioning that the U.S. Government is not doing much about the issue as it is VERY MUCH a U.S. problem. We seem to forget that although most of the violence is in Mexico, it is in the U.S. where most of the customers are.

That's true but I was not implying that, rather that the victim's family would further appreciate a solution to eradicate the cause of violence instead of the effort of a installing a monument that is put out of sight anyway.
