Aluminum shifter base bushings. I’ve done this on a couple of my cars now. It really helps take out the slop in the shifter base and makes the shifts more crisp.

I did as well. Normally I’m a purist but I’d be down for that swap.
Mustang masquerading as a Corvette.
Yeah it’s not.
There’s a reason for all of this. It’s to keep your ungrateful butt alive during flight.
I would watch that series!
Yeah, sorry. It’s someone elses’ project and we know what we do with those.
Neither do Democrats.
I once had a 300GT that I converted to AWD. Then I drifted it. Everyone knows AWD drifts are the best.
Certainly lived up to its name.
This isn’t really what anyone told me but what I sortof just did on my own. When exiting the highway you see those speed signs. Like 40 miles an hour. Anyways, I used to exit and then immediately slow down to whatever speed it told me. I’m lucky whoever was behind me was paying attention.
Very good! I actually had this happen a few months back. I was driving I-30 in Ft. Worth Texas. Anyone who lives in DFW knows that stretch of road is known for deaths. Blew a tire. I drove for a half mile before finally getting to an exit. No sense in risking my life and becoming one of those crosses out there. I’ll…
I still wouldn’t advise doing this.
I actually watched a Youtube video back in the day where the guy did this. I actually contemplated not using the clutch after watching it. Yeah, glad I didn’t listen to him.
Very good article. I really like watching his videos.
I try to always start in 1st. Only times I haven’t was when I forget.
They are nice cars, but I just can’t get into BMW. I can’t be the only person either who just has no desire to ever own a BMW, Mercedes or any luxury car for that matter.
Haha. Love that II added in there at the last second. Kinda like how I raced a Mitsubishi Lancer in high school and won. Oh no it wasn’t an Evo but you don’t have to know that unless you ask.
Yep. Joke went right over your head.
I just wonder if the increased fuel economy would offset the extra cost of 95. Or if it would be cheaper because that’s the only grade oil companies would have to produce.
