No need cuz you’re right. Like you I also owned an EP hatch. Mine was an 04 and I mildly modded it and then returned it back to stock. I really loved that car. It handled well. The engine was torquey(for a Honda). I also loved that shifter.

Of that gen no the Si hatches were EP3 and the Coupes were EM2 not sure about the sedan. I guess I could look It up but I'm too lazy right now. Oh also the 6th gen Civics weren't all EKs either same as the 4th not being EF. My 90 CRX DX was an ED8 and the Si was ED9.

Actually the sedan was the only on to be designated an EG in the US. The coupes were EJs and the hatches like this one were EH. EH2 to be exact
