Car companies should follow what Scion did with the first gen Tc. In 2006 they offered the Spec Package which was a stripper Tc. The steering wheel wasn't leather, the glass sunroof was fixed in place, steel wheels instead of alloy,and cheaper interior bits. It cost about $1500 less than the base Tc and was supposed…
You know about 6-7 years ago Scion sold a stripper version of their Tc. It had no sunroof,wheel covers,non power door locks and Windows and was pretty much as basic as you could get. It was for tuning and they claimed it was supposed to be used as a platform to build on. Ford should do the same with the Fiesta ST.

Honestly I can think of a lot more reasons to hate American cars besides the 01 Trans Am. Actually the 01 Trans Am isn't a very good reason to hate American cars.
