Yeah, this is one of those things you already know, framed in an interesting way. I do agree neither gender wins. Of course, are people just seeking out what they want, or are the channels reinforcing the viewers tastes in a vicious cycle completely bereft of any concepts that would challenge their viewer's viewpoint?

@junkyardarts: Yeah, I agree it did a lot of things right. I just think most of those things were very surface level and I never need to see the film again. Once the tensity of not knowing what will happen is gone, the film loses a great chunk of power to me.

Good for her and nice to see a solid film win. Out of the nominated people I would have gone for Tarantino but anything is better than watching Cameron accept an award.

I find it rather hard to imagine a scenario in which Charlize Theron would start to feel like my sister. Having seen her at a concert the other night, I even sickeningly wonder how I'd feel about her if she literally was my sister. I mean that in the least disturbed way possible.

@LaComtesse: This makes you as close to my wife as I can imagine a woman could be.

@dirtybee: That's great. I think I know just what you mean. If my wife ever smartens up and leaves me, I'm happy to know Christina is out there as a possible almost replacement.

@Rooo sez BISH PLZ: The stupidity makes it easy not to worry. It's a vicious cycle.

@rakarakarak: I'm from Los Angeles and all I can think is thank god it's a very large city.

@VirtuousVixen: Your screen name makes this comment priceless!

What is this oral sex you speak of?! I knew I should have paid more attention in school... It sounds amazing!! Seriously, I am off to try this at once!!!!

She's walking right to the corner behind the movie theatre that always smells like urine. I hate that corner.

@NerD: Blattella: For me I'd have to add the fact that he's been trying (and failing) to win the New Yorker cartoon caption contest for decades. I can sympathize.

@tweak23: Actually, I have huge admiration for him as a film critic, mostly because it's so obvious with every word he writes that he truly loves loves loves film. Whether it's populist blockbusters or the most low budget indies, he reviews each film for what it is. Now, I often do disagree with him (like I would with

@moonlitsapphire: They're not frat boys. They're old men who like money. They went with the highest grossing drama for best drama and the highest grossing comedy for best comedy. Simple enough to predict!

@midwesternmom: Kicking Aholes in the Nuts is very due to hit Facebook. And it's a proven concept that has been doing well on television for years under the title American's Funniest Home Videos.

@hausfrau76: I'd argue you're very very close but off by about one word. It's not that in ten years everything becomes a classic. It's that in ten years the only sketches that you remember are the few that were actual good. When I go back and watch Best of SNL compilations of the 70's or 80's or 90's almost everything

@Acquanetta: I'm 100% sure that's actually the reason.
