@so_bored: You're right, setting this film up against Hurt Locker is beside the point. I have mixed feelings on Bright Star. It was done well, shot and edited beautifully, as you would expect from Campion. Ultimately though, I found it fairly vanilla and par from the course. It doesn't stand out as anything…
