Why is trying to find out the truth behind a crime "bad taste"? The reason Koenig investigates the case is that the accused was convicted with basically zero evidence. Isn't finding someone guilty - beyond a reasonable doubt - of murder without any hard evidence more an example of "bad taste" than investigating the

The lawyers agreed that while no one forced the kids into the car, that doesn't really matter because they were about 12 years old and also Goldfish.

"...no viral videos..." "...and only a strip of photos as evidence."

I know a few restaurants that require credit card info for reservations on holidays, big event nights, etc. - and they will turn your table over to someone else and charge a no-show fee to your card after 30 minutes past your reservation time if you don't show up. Not sure how it works credit card - wise since they

"My favorite thing about being an adult is having the freedom to not do optional things I wasn't sure if I wanted to do or not and I would prefer to be able to change my mind literally right before."

Part of being an adult is honoring your commitments. Telling someone, "Yes - spend your money on me because I will be there" and then not showing up because you decided you don't feel like it (and being dishonest as to the reason) is selfish and rude. Once you RSVP in the affirmative, it is no longer an "optional

How considerate of you to re-publish the photos - I'm sure the victims appreciate it...!

Do you want to know why I began doing volunteer work as a regular part of my life? I did so because other people I knew talked about the volunteer work they did. It "normalized" it for me - it made me realize (because so many people I knew were involved in volunteer work) that doing volunteer work should be part of

"'I'm sure they wouldn't have one,' she replied." - Was that meant as some kind of insult?

...In what way is this a review of the film..?

"...where it's okay to shoot an unarmed teenager for allegedly stealing cigarillos..." - You do know that he also attacked the police officer, punching him in the face and grabbing at his gun, do you not...?

Do you seriously consider assaulting a police officer, punching him in the face and grabbing at his gun to be "typical teenage stuff"...?

FYI: nywoman92 specializes in willful ignorance.

Did you punch those officers in the face and try to grab their gun(s) from them?

The whole "aim for the foot / leg / arm" approach is a Hollywood fiction. Police officers are trained to shoot to eliminate the threat when in fear for their safety and / or life - which means aiming for the center of mass. Aiming for the foot / hand / leg is the least likely way to make contact with the target

See, here's what you're not getting, champ. Claiming that words do not mean what they mean does not actually mean that they don't mean what they mean. No matter what you say, a person has no reasonable expectation of privacy when out in public, outside, in the open, on a public beach, in full view of everyone around

It's bizarre how people are so intent on ignoring the actual meanings of words - so much so that they claim that two words with meanings that are literally the opposite of each other (and are even listed in thesauruses as antonyms of each other) actually mean the same thing.

You are clearly the type of person for whom anyone with a differing viewpoint - or, God forbid, a point that is actually based in reason and actual inarguable fact and truth as opposed to admitted willful ignorance - is a "troll". The sad (yet hilarious) truth is that actually makes you the troll in the situation.

"You will always be recognized. [...] ...think for a moment about never ever being able to enjoy a walk on a beach. Ever."
