I just dont see the big deal here. thats all.

So if a man was assaulting you, instead of defending yourself, you’d run away and try and call the police? What if they were armed? It is Oklahoma, you know. What they chased you down and continued to attack you?

But it was a reaction not something thought out. There’s only a matter of seconds from her hitting him to him hitting her. I’m not saying he was right but when you initiate something she should be as aware of her surroundings as him. My analogy point was you can’t use gender in the defense of some one who is an adult

So since she’s a woman she’s allowed to strike a man? it was a matter of seconds you don’t go to the woods and start poking bears because it’s fucking stupid and can get you killed. See I can use dumb analogies too

Why would you start physical contact with intent of violence with some one you would lose to? If that was the same sized man who started a fight with him then nothing would come of this but because it’s a woman we run to her defense. She’s not all that innocent in this situation.

She also hits him in the face. She’s not innocent.

Everytime I see one of those street fight/sucker punch stories where someone dies, it’s not the impact of the punch that kills them but the resulting fall and head smashing into solid object that does it.

Also, “disproportionate” refers to what’s necessary rather than the capabilities of an opponent. At least to me, punching her seemed to be in proportion to what was needed to make her stop attacking him.

You do understand what domestic violence is, and that this is not that, don’t you?

So, timeline of events: she motions for him to come over, says something to him. He turns to leave. She shoves him. He makes a threatening, forward motion gesture. She slaps him. He punches her.

That table shot after the punch is fucking brutal
