I don't hate The King's Speech by any stretch, but it's nothing revolutionary. And The Social Network wouldn't make my all-time list, but it's definitely bolder and has more to say than The King's Speech.
The latter. That franchise used up its so-bad-it's-goodness with The Last Stand.
My mom's more impressionable than yours, I think. For example: she loved The King's Speech and was flabbergasted when my sister and I suggested that The Social Network was a more worthy choice.
