I lost all respect for McCarthy years ago when he blamed a playoff loss on a mistake by a special teamer rather than his own late game play-calling cowardice.

I’ve been trying to recall and imagine a similar situation if a player left the Pats and, aside from Brady ditching the team, having great difficulties with that. Not because I feel Pats is superior, but because this backlash from the Steelers is starting to become borderline ridiculous.
As an ex-Chargers fan who saw Junior Seau and Rodney Harrison play for Bill Belichick, I think you may be on to something.
I was thinking the other way. He isn’t much of a player anymore, but he knows the Steelers’ playbook, and could be valuable to Belichick.
This is like a bizarro Martellus Bennett situation, where Harrison just wanted to play and the Steelers weren’t playing him. All these Steelers talking shit look really bad. I mean, you weren’t playing him, he wanted to play, you released him.
“none of what was in the car was his obviously.”
You guys, don’t blame Apple for making those ill-advised statements. Clearly his internal processor was slowed down by forces outside his control.
LeBron’s go to move is drive right while shoving defender into the next quarter with left forearm then get grazed at the rim and miss the layup cause he went up like a pussy and then cry for fouls.
Oddly, the last two minute report from last year’s Christmas game shows the refs basically screwed the Warriors (Durant specifically) and even at the time Durant said the report was meaningless and should be tossed out
Somebody should roll in here with a supercut of Lebron James offensive fouls that were never called.
If he gets a ring with the Pats, will he return it since it’ll basically be like a participation trophy?
I’ve actually learned to love his ‘heel’ turn this season. Sports needs this, and has always had this. Pressure from sponsors has silenced so much of it but it was always there. I also appreciate LeBron’s non-reaction reaction. If we are going to be forced to watch the same two teams in the finals every year, I prefer…
Hold up. Did you really say that DeAndre Jordan is better than Kevin Love?
Awfully optimistic to suggest he’ll be ready for the start of the season. I would plan on being drunk until October at least. Just to be safe.
Eagels fan here. I’m calling it early: we sign Kap, he plays like a man possesed, we roll through the playoffs and win our first Superbowl, and Goddel is forced to hand to Lombardi trophy to Kap, the games MVP.
I blame Magery for jinxing the whole thing in his Jambaroo.
The thing about Flacco that sticks with me the most is that one WYTS letter where the writer angrily mentioned seeing him with brown socks, tan dress shoes and a black suit.
Holy shit are those some ass-ugly uniforms. Both sides. God damn.
