I think so. The current directors do a great job talking about the older ones and their movies. Nothing too graphic with footage and language (the 3rd episode has the most harrowing footage) . I watched the whole series last night and it is fascinating. Netflix has several of the films they discuss available to stream, including The Battle of Midway.

If I have to wake up to an alarm I give myself plenty of time to hit the snooze button several times. I like at least a half an hour to get my ass moving. Hayao Miyazaki's anime collection is amazing. His Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle are a couple of my favorite films. His movies are distributed by Disney is the US but are made by Japanese animation studio Studio Ghibli.
