I empathize with the spirit of the article but some small voice in my head parroted the title back as, “someone, somewhere on the internet said something” and I cringed. There is never any shortage of people looking to be outraged about something... and this is pretty low hanging fruit.

I actually liked Gawker before the election and it’s ultimate demise. I still believe it did its own small part in getting “him” elected. It is amazing now how fast it turns in that direction in every article on this suite of blogs. I really do go to Deadspin for sports, to Gizmodo for tech, Jalopnik for cars, etc.…

Yeah. It’s like NYC rental prices. What’s important to the coastal folks is supposed to be important to all of us.
