OK, then pass a bill to fix the infrastructure with a per-mile use tax. Add toll roads. Tax the polluting ICE vehicles that create pollution. Raise the overall tax. Just don’t waste time by stifling innovation and don’t cripple the economy by forcing infancies into the free market.
