The Charlie/Diane rivalry will always be gold.

Circling back to see if you’ll ever answer my question.

My apologies, I did that from my phone and I did indeed mean this for smoke&water!  If I could delete and repost I would!  :)

So you never answered my question, which tells me everything I need to know.

I had a boss like this, who bragged about “answering e-mails right up until (he had) surgery!!!” (Not subtle subtext: so you should too.) He also yelled at me the day of my father-in-law’s funeral, because I wasn’t super responsive via phone.

What is his personality like?  I’m asking because he reminds me so much of one I knew!

Awww...how old is Kevin?

Hells yeah!  *high fives* <---I still do that.

Thank you for this. I was complaining about The Apprentice back in 2006 or whatever when it was first on the air with non-celebrities. I thought D-bag was an a-hole to people from the get go. A transparent crapbag of a person. I hated that people thought it was “empowering” and that he was “just speaking the truth”.

This, right here: “It’s hard to ignore a pile of shit when that shit is constantly floating at the top of every news site - but I can honestly say that I ignore them in terms of never watching their myriad stupid shows.”

I guess if it’s the same ears that have been open to this crap since the beginning, then at least it’s better than a blockbuster that convinces new people to join the cause.  Like, it’s going to be a circle jerk.  The same people who already believe this kind of thing are going to be the only ones watching it.  Which

I’ve seen her in real life (from about 10 feet away), and I was gobsmacked with how unearthly beautiful she is. Like, almost, stumble-backwards attractive. I think she looks attractive on screen in the way that all actresses do, but I was shocked and taken aback at how she looks in person. In awe.

I think we can blame the low turnout of communities of color in swing states/districts on REPUBLICANS who are totally Jim Crowing the voting stations backwards. New bullshit voter ID laws. Limiting the opening hours of polling places. Limiting the NUMBER of polling places. Rolling back the larger windows for absentee

Well said.

My husband wants to move there. But it seems very hard for a citizen of the states to try to get permanent residency over there.  Sigh.

“My boss never asks for a doctor’s note on anything, he just trusts we’re adults who aren’t lying to him. Granted, rarely is anyone dependent on me for anything, so as long as I just do work on a daily basis, no one seems to have a problem.

“Leisure is my absolute goal in life.” - you are the role model we all need. It’s my goal too.

Stacy Dash = instant flop.  I lol’d relief when I read that.  Like, I hate that this movie is coming out.  But when it’s obviously going to be this bad?  It’s almost like an accidental pro-choice movie.

Me and my husband constantly talk about that George Clooney machine in the basement.  lol  Hysterically funny!  And Brad Pitt as that trainer? lol lol

Also, the waitress TOTALLY would go out with him if she didn’t have a boyfriend!
