My theory about the stress release of Real Housewives for some viewers is that their arguments are typically about topics so petty, it helps you temporarily adopt a “things aren’t that bad, because these arguments are so small and inane.” Even if the viewer is not able to dismiss the world’s conflicts, and conflicts

Pre-Drumpf, there were cheap flights from my area to D.C. in the spring, and I’ve always wanted to go. I do not live on the east coast and never saw the country’s capital as a child. My husband, however, has been there numerous times on school field trips. So we opted for mutually agreeable destinations where neither

Thank you for this, it needed to be said: “Senators are not widgets you can just swap out one for the other.”

You get a million extra stars for this: “lies for Jesus”.

So fucking spot on. Yes and amen and golden stars and green clovers for this whole comment!

I second this opinion!

YES. One of my friends owns his house outright, has rental properties, and grandparents that were very wealthy in another country, and CONSTANTLY complains about the people who shop at Wal-mart and on Black Friday and the commercialism of all that buying power. And I know some very very poor people (relatives and

Every relative I have knows I never wanted kids. I was very vocal about it since a very young age, so the only people that bother asking that question are strangers or acquaintances (like a co-worker or something).

I say this as a fan of Gwen - I really hate this album and am annoyed at how hard NBC is pushing her down our throats. I like the Tragic Kingdom Gwen, though, and the song Luxurious, and her duet with Eve, but not *this* Gwen.

Also, I LOVED his acting in this movie (small part, but he did a great job looking genuinely bewildered etc.)

This deserves many stars.

I read it differently than everyone else - I read that he felt bad for the reaction she was getting from fans, not that he felt bad that she felt like a part of her and a part of him loved each other. He’s an actor, he totally gets what she meant. She also said in that interview that the real her and the real Jim are

I married a Ben too. Best choice ever.

The thing is, the Office was promoted heavily and came out at the end of NBC’s top ranking as the most watched network of the big 3. Parks and Rec, however, came out when the network wasn’t the juggernaut it was. So it’s really about promotion and exposure. More people watched The Office live, because of the tie in

Can’t we love them both?

Thank you!

Being laid off sucks at any age, whether you’re younger or older, and I’m sorry this happened to you. I’ve been part of 2 layoffs and I’ve been witness to many others (but not laid off in the process of those.) They always blindside people. Always. It’s horrible.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!!! Good luck! I’m also looking for a job, so I wouldn’t mind some fingers-crossing back! It sounds like you’re doing great, I hope it all goes well.

Ooooo this is so exciting! My husband’s very into hygge and fika and we just did some of this last weekend. He even went to a Swedish store and bought their mulled wine (glogg) for the event. Anyhow, posting this made me happy, so thanks! I also don’t mind winter and wish more people felt happy and well during that
