I bought an ‘08 HSE LUX two days ago for $17k. The LR dealer installed new control arms, air-compressor, belts, tires, and fixed a couple dings. Interior is immaculate, and everything feels brand new. I’m a second-time LR owner, so I know what i’m getting into.

Highway 218 near Mint Hill. I know it well.

Exactly.

I snagged a 6MT 335i sedan for $15k, dropped $3k into it, and am now just under 475hp. Methanol injection and i’m right there.

This 2008 Range Rover Sport will make you look rich, because Range Rover.

I'm not part of National Speed, but I'm sure they'd be happy to chat with you about your idea!

No, it has the eerily similar GM style single leaf system. But it does have the pop-up rear-facing seat.

Thanks, man. I really wanted to keep everything nice and tidy on the dash, so it seemed like a good fit. The wiring was a little harder than expected, but the guys at National Speed figured it all out nicely. I’m going to do a custom decal for that switch, using the same Volvo style used for the sunroof.

I’m gonna keep it forever! Probably.

We had to have the AC lines fabricated, so that took a little while.

My goal was for this build to be different from those. No dashboard warning lights, everything works perfectly, LED signal light conversions, and a smooth ride. We use this car to drive across NC for the holidays. It’s a regular car, until you open up the cutouts and release the beast within.

Agreed. Top notch crew, who have done 2 previous projects for me. And super fun guys to hang around.

I love that. I feel like you and me could be best friends.

Suspension is next. There’s a guy in the New England area that does custom coilovers for the V90, but they’re pricey.

Hey! That’s me!

I’ve got a 1998 V90 with an LS swap, and I desperately need this one for my collection.

You could play a professional football match within those fender wells.
