These shows fictionally take place hundreds of years in the future so when you compare language today to hundreds of years in the past, there are significant differences in how we spoke and what words we used. One thing that I find interesting is in Discovery they choose to maintain a lot of how people talk today in

Curious if the extra joystick and d pads for the elite would also work on this controller?

Ha, triggered nostalgia...anyone who played PSO ep 1 remember the glitch in the lobby to get inside the column next to the counter or inside the tree?

I wonder if this would possibly come to Xbox One too now that it is finally getting mouse and keyboard support.

Yeah enterprise tops them all lol

I am surprised they haven’t taken hints from Wizards of the Coast in application of things. Because of the MIDA that is. For Magic The Gathering, it seems often they ban cards not just because they are broken, often times they aren’t but because everyone in Standard Format is using the same thing over and over. In

Unless you are in a dire need of money, why not give them away? Facebook marketplace. If you paid full price for the item and got your money’s worth in usage and don’t plan on using them again it would seem logical to just give them away to someone who may not be able to afford them.

Agreed, I think they should pull from Phantasy Star Online’s chat system, where you can put text in a bubble and it pops up on screen for a few moments for everyone in the lobby. At least for the social spaces, could be distracting out in the world.

Man, all of the hunter gear seems a bit lame compared to the Warlocks and Titans. I mean I don’t even know if you can make overly awesome hunter armor sets either considering the class type, seems like something elaborate would just be in the way lol but still.

Yup and outside of that, its just a good film to watch. I enjoyed the conflict of “am I real” to it. The soundtrack is fantastic too, especially the Bunsen Burner track by the artist CUTS.

Gotcha, I have only heard of it, but haven’t seen it. I think though, I might give it a watch this weekend if I can find it. Thanks for the tip!

Haha right on, yeah I’m not surprised really and it would seem it would have to be of a unique taste really to enjoy it. I think it is a fun film to watch but those things are interesting to me. But I can’t see the average Marvel Film fan wanting to go out and enjoy Metropolis lol

I have seen many things from that era

I’m in the same boat, I need to watch so much more. Over years I’ve grown to love David Lynch’s work and that just spiraled into a lot of different things. “Freaks”... lol But there is an element of silent or at least off the wall older films that are just entertaining to me.

I actually haven’t seen that one yet. There are so many films I am sure that would be placed into what I was referencing lol, I was just remarking because Metropolis was a film I saw when I was a kid and that was late 80s early 90s at the time lol just seemed like so much has been taken from that visually. But I

Lol, yeah I probably could have worded my original post more significantly. I wasn’t saying that Metropolis should be on the list, in the first part of the article it just mentioned that Bladerunner is on the top of what inspires sci fi looming over the best of sci fi next to probably 2001: A Space Odyssey. I was just

Oh for sure, that is what I meant by looming when it was mentioned in the article as influential. I am not bugged by it or anything, I just find it interesting how little it is referenced, most people I’ve seen discuss sci fi have never even heard of it lol. It would seem to me that much of what we consider sci fi

Lol AI is on that list but not Ex Machina? odd. I also find it interesting, on the looming sci-fi inspiration level how so many people in recent years forget or haven’t seen Metropolis.

yuuuup....bastards lol

I still think it’s funny that one of their reasons for leaving Microsoft was to be able to reach more platforms, then turn around lock content for a specific platform for so long.

I think Bungie should look into the faction system for Elite: Dangerous and get some pointers. I am willing bet they change this faction war thing significantly, since the majority of players I see is Dead Orbit, so obvious they would win lol. I would like also be able to see the progress on it during. I’m sure much
