Fair. I mean, when has “Teen People” ever steered anyone wrong? ;)

Oh, shoot. I’m sorry. I didn’t realize that I was conversing with a TBI patient. Would you like me to respond to you in monosyllabic* words, possibly written really big, and in crayon?
This article actually prompted me to read the lyrics to “Jumper,” and I was suitably impressed.
I, too am a distance runner! And I may just add some of their stuff to my iTunes because of this thread. :D
Why, thank you! I actually have 7 dogs (and 3 cats), but he’s the only pirate. ;)

I honestly did not know that about Charlize Theron.
I think that you may have mis-read my comment..?
I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with liking them. Especially now.
The article referenced “Jumper,” which had me stymied, so I Googled it, and remembered that. It’s catchy AF, and the lyrics, which are about a closeted gay man taking his own life, are faaaaaaaaaaarrrrrr more profound than I would have expected.
I didn’t listen to them in the ‘90s, because I was a music snob. If it wasn’t Current ‘93 or Skinny Puppy or the like, I ignored it.
I don’t think I said anything about them being bad.
I just read the lyrics to some of their songs, and am pleasantly surprised at how good they are.
This sums up my feelings perfectly.
Pretty smart to know that those conservatives wouldn’t do any research as to their (the band’s) politics (did you read what their statement was from 2012?), and then agree to perform at a conservative forum so that they could highlight the attendee’s pro-inequality and anti-science thinking.
Idris totally dances in that video! It’s at the end - after the mall scene. He has a hat on at first, then there he is in a black shirt and leather pants.
Is that...chino shorts? With leggings?
If you are me, that is.
This. Now THIS is some intelligent, high-level trolling.
Starring for “thrice.”
