A headquarters isn’t like building a Walmart or a distribution center. The purpose isn’t to build a box and put in in low paid people. Also, why would you think that’s a good thing for your community? To be the Bangladesh of the American workforce?

It is going to be a city with a major airport hub with connections to Europe and that is capable of attracting a younger tech minded crowd. The people working there will largely be imports from elsewhere in the country and not locals, so existing skill set doesn’t matter as much.

Tacoma would actually be a great choice. It would place upward pressure on housing there, but the region needs to be more than one major city (ha ha Bellevue is a suburb with some towers).

Head. Quarters. Not logistics hub. At least that’s my read on it.
