I used to love wedge flip flops. Then I moved to a city, got old, and became aware of ankle roll injuries and 5th metatarsal bone breaks. Now I shudder whenever I look at wedges and platform anything. I have a pair of crutches in the front closet to remind me, in case I forget.

As someone who knows the value of sleep and the impact sleep deprivation can have, I totally get where Bernie is coming from. Sleep is important and anything you can do when you travel to help you get good sleep is understandable.

I feel like in a hellscape of a time continuum where a former president demanded a Diet Coke button at the Resolute Desk that looked like a button that may also have unleashed the nukes, this is a fucking non-story.

I’ve tried jogging too and I think all the years and ankle injuries from sports just don’t jive well with jogging. I use an elliptical at home all the time now and it’s much better. I like hiking too which I think is a decent enough exercise

When my knees were younger I tried to take up running. I was traveling a lot for work and it seemed like something I could do anywhere without extra equipment and was a good way to maintain and possibly improve my cardiovascular health. Turns out, I don’t like to run. I have never liked to run. I got to the point…

A few months ago I tried to take up running by jogging 60 seconds, walking 60 seconds, every other day for a week. I had such bad tendonitis that I couldn’t go to dance class and had to take my last Tylenol III. I’ll have to stick to long walks up and down hills, and dancing for cardio.
