My shadow travels with me, sometimes to my left, sometimes to my right…sometimes ahead of me, sometimes behind…except when it's raining…or at night.

When I'm feeling lost, adrift, stymied by the myriad labyrinthine forces at play in our society today, I hit the road, listen to it sing beneath my wheels. I find it calms me as I travel across this Great Land of Ours.

Looks like I might have to swing back through the fine town of Twin Peaks to pay my respects to Margaret Lanterman.
