Then why not choose a crime where the person was obviously innocent (there are many of them out there- listen to the podcast Actual Innocent)? In choosing a crime which was more on the fence just hurts the family of the victim even more. The justice system IS muddy. Sometimes. But most case are pretty straight forward…
