Well the observatory would be cool they have. A pianist playing Beethoven. Just read about a campfire kind of thing at the LA river which could be cool as hell. So wherever they allow beer to be consumed I’m in.

When I was a kid, I found out my parents had adopted me as an infant. There were at least a handful of times that I used the evil twin excuse — at school, at daycare, and once with my mom herself when I got caught stealing an Archie comic from a bookstore. Of course no one was having it, but I was like, “Hey, how do

To be fair, I also have an evil twin. She gets up in the middle of the night and eats delicious sweet snacks even when they don’t belong to her. I wish I could do more to stop her.

See that’s the kind of excitement I was trying to convey. It’s supposed to be awesome. Good beer staring at the stars. I wonder what the best place in LA to see this will be.

My school’s tampon dispensers were never stocked, and the maxi-pads were these gigantic fluffy things that felt like a diaper made of cotton balls. Glad these girls are receiving better!

No, she was also very talented. And honest, which is always interesting in an artist.

Because her voice and music were fantastic, and because her potential was barely tapped. People love talented people, it's no mystery.

She only released two studio albums, but they’re both incredible showcases of her singing talent. The first, Frank, was a jazz album. The second, Back to Black, was a soul album. I honestly would put her voice on those albums up with great jazz and soul singers like Billie Holiday and Aretha Franklin.

She was a very talented musician, regardless of her struggles.

Can someone explain why she is beloved (honest question)?
I didn’t pay any attention to her when she was at the height of her popularity (just wasn’t at all into her music at the time). All I remember is everyone in media and conversation mocking her addiction and talking about how she was going to turn up dead.

And those teens will think they’ll be big, notorious stars if they keep doing drugs and then join the “27 club” and be famous forever!

I was watching re-runs of the Simon Amstell years of Never Mind the Buzzcocks and I just had to skip over the episode Amy Winehouse was on. She was, of course, completely drunk/high/whatever and they were making fun of her the whole time... deservedly so in the context of the show, but knowing she would be dead a

OK so Swiss Beatz, Don Lemon(head), Andre Leon Talley and Al Sharpton in the first 5 minutes!

I directed voiceover and mocap, and designed/wrote 3 million-selling games. And I can say from experience that voiceover work is the easiest, cushiest gig in all of video games. It requires little prep, the conditions are luxurious, and the pay is great.

Oh, no! That’s not me! That’s a pic of one of the world’s largest diamonds.

That it is, friend. That it is.

life is a weird fucking clusterfuck of emotional highs and lows.

For real.
