I think the Warriors solved the problem of the Thunder getting to the rim against the Spurs.

And thus, no one will ever give a shit about Derpadova again.

I am pretty stoked about a frontcourt with LA and Pau, neither of whom would be the best player on the team. Pau’s passing in that offense is a perfect fit.

Not discounting the existential dread that has surely filled the hearts of all other franchises today, the Spurs will figure something out. They have the best coach ever. Fuck it, he’s the best coach ever, winning 60-plus games and trophies while not averaging 30 minutes or 20 points for any player.

Mmmmmm. Meaty Albatross.

I really wish KG would've had better teams in Minny. Would've made a great rivalry between the two but it never really happened.

As a Spurs fan, this is the biggest story of the day for me. There was always a pretty good chance Tim was hanging it up, especially after the postseason where he looked as finished as Daniel Plainview in the final shot of There Will Be Blood, but it felt like when Manu confirmed his return, it felt like the true one

The problem is the cap also hamstrings the mediocre and bad teams. They have to give shit like Dellavodova $10 million a year for four years and then in two years when they have a chance to make some moves and be good, they still have Dellovadova at $10 million. The cap forces bad teams to overpay for average or worse

The Kings, seeing an opportunity, have reportedly offered Duncan a max contract.

As a Laker fan I really think the best move this year was no move. Instead we signed a meaty albatross.

The bad teams are doing what they always do: waiting for the tv money to arrive and blackmailing their cities for new arenas.

She’s right that KD made OKC irrelevant by choosing to sign with GS.

You know what? First Take is getting a lot better.

You know you lost the argument when you have to bring up the fact that you’re agreeing with Stephen A. Smith.

I enjoyed this very much.

The good thing about knowing Willis is a ghost is that you can look for the subtle hints that he is one when you’re not suppose to know.

Because I’m an idiot.

Westbrook is going to be SO fun to watch with that team all to himself, and he might legitimately flirt with a triple - double average next season.

Prediction: At some point this season, in the midst of a 30-point game streak that will dwarf anything MJ or Joe Dimaggio has ever done, Russell Westbrook will spontaneously combust live on television. He will posthumously be awarded MVP.
