I thought Burneko said he was poo?
I thought Burneko said he was poo?
good one *yawn*
I pooped in your mouth.
To me, yes, it was the wrong decision to bring in a guy who hadn’t hit in 6 months, could barely run, and wasn’t allowed to field at all to play in a World Series. They were the best team in baseball without him all season long, why risk it? But like I said, it worked. A good player bailed him out of what could have…
Are you questioning the move to put Schwarber in when he was one of their best hitters in the Series? Not to mention that wasn’t just a managerial decision and he only was a DH/PH. And Lester got a weak grounder and a strikeout that inning. Keep up the false narrative that the only way to pitch with runners on is to…
To say he isn’t very good would be a hot take, yes. Overrated, maybe. Some of his tactical decisions leave a lot to be desired, but he’s far from “not very good.”
you beautiful idiot, you.
You couldn’t be more wrong on this...
Sale himself could get hurt...his values not going to get that much higher, if at all. No reason to hold on to him if you don’t plan on contending.
Basabe has risk, but has plenty of upside. He was just ranked as the Red Sox 6th best prospect by Baseball Prospectus (right behind Kopech). He’s far from filler.
*their, you idiot.
Offensively, no, the Royals weren’t better than league-average. But their core was still Gordon, Cain, Moustakas, Hosmer, and Perez. Position players provide more than just offense. Defensively, they finished 2nd and 1st in defensive runs saved in 2014 and 2015, respectively. There bullpen was dominant, no doubt, but…
The Royals were built around their position players, and the Giants and Indians to a lesser extent. The Red Sox and currently the Yankees also use this formula. You still need pitching, but relying heavily on young pitchers comes with a lot more risk, as seen with the Mets staff falling apart last season.
Building around young position players is a lot more sound strategy than building around young pitchers. The Cubs aren’t a freak case, they just acquired a boatload of prospects. Not all have hit, it’s just that they’ve had so many.
Eaton hasn’t been a consistent contributor?? What????
The winter meetings haven’t even started...
The code for the Eufy RoboVac is no longer active :(
Pepperoni for every meal?? Jesus.
How? Because you’re a fun-hating douche?
A good hitting, great fielding shortstop or a great hitting, below average left fielder. hmm...
