The 1980s Bonneville, especially in the SSE form, wasn’t a bad looking car at all, the 1992 refresh looked like it was designed by someone who had depth of perception issues.

Let it climb to $150 a barrel, and then we’ll star worrying. In the meantime, we are still paying way below the world average for gas, though it’ll be funny to watch the people who drive gas guzzlers panic. Enjoy those $120 fill ups.
“I decided to build an M Wagon but due to certain circumstances, must sell $32,500...”
Yup. I think, to a certain extent, most people are good drivers, or at least they are responsible drivers. However, depending on the regions of the country. In California, for example, there are assholes in brodozers that will tailgate you in the rain. Just had that happened to me coming back from lunch today. I…
I think our eyes have been trained to believe that black trim pieces are generally associated with generic fleet vehicles, i.e., police vehicles. Most of the Crown Vic’s that were used as patrol cars had blacked out grilles, so I naturally assumed black grilles on the new Explorers to be cop cars.
I drive within reasonable speeds, keeping up with traffic, five to ten over when there are other cars, and fifteen over when it’s desolate. I don’t treat public roads lie my own private race track, but I’ll admit, I rarely stay within limit.
All it takes is some douche cannons to spray their wheels black, and around here, that’s basically any Explorer owner under the age of 35.
I fuckig hate new-ish Explorers with the black grille rather than the silver. The black grille looks like an unmarked unit all the time. I have to look closer to make sure it’s not the po-po.
I still do that, but not a lot of people do that anymore. If I see cops ahead of me, I’d tap on the brakes a few times to warn people. However, if I see someone being a complete douche, then let fate decide what’ll happen to them next.
The year was 1995-1996. I was working in Taiwan, and the company gave me this as my company vehicle. This also had to carry a film crew and gear, and because the terrain can be pretty rough in the island, the high ground clearance and 4X4 came in handy.
I agree. The Eagle Vision was a indeed a nice looking large sedan. I’m not a big fan of the the siblings (Intrepid and Concorde), but the Vision was a handsome looking car. With bigger wheels, that car would look even better.
Never an acceptable thing to do. You don’t walk up to a hot girl and lift up her bra to check out the goods (even though you want to), why would you do that to someone else’s car?
Girlfriend in high school had a Saturn. The rear seats were terrible, but she wasn’t.
Uh, did he actually look at all the environmental factors? The fact that mornings are usually cooler could contribute to better fuel economy. Evenings require you to have lights on while driving, and possibly running the AC.
Next stop: posing for Playboy, or do porn.
Two words: brand equity. Toyota earned theirs while GM fucked off. Now they suffer the consequences of trying to climb out of a slippery pit. There’s no doubt that GM is putting out products that are on-par with Toyota. The playing field won’t level anytime soon.
Right. Even though technically, the gains we saw were tides from the last quarter, when we had a sane person I the Oval Office.
They’ve also asked that I accept a clown as a president, and believe that missiles launched at a Syrian Air Force base is totally calculated and necessary.
Better marketing on Nissan’s behalf. The Leaf is sold worldwide, so with the online crowd talking about it, the buzz is thee. Chevy Bolt is a newcomer, and people don’t have as good a perception of Chevy worldwide.
One of the biggest reasons for Pontiac to fail is because the same design philosophy that was held over from the 1980s never got changed...even in the 2000s. Bunch of gaudy plastic body panels and trim pieces are supposed to make their cars look “sporty.” It may have worked on the blind soccer moms that bought the…
