Why did it take so long? Most of the cars I have driven have been electronically limited to around 110- 120 for ages. The tires they put on probably aren’t even rated for 150mph.

you could at least give him an ass beer

I just can’t understand why manufacturers can’t be honest about this. It’s pretty simple:

It’s all fun and games until your guts start coming out your bodily orifices

I mean they are closer to France. They should be more accustomed to how those words sound. Stop making fun of how I pronounce aluminum damnit.

I love how british people always make fun of americans for pronunciation, then he pronounces it mercury markiss.

I gave a simple explanation, widely accepted as business fundamentals. You gave a politically charged explanation with a near infinite source of variables in technology, standard of living, job market trends, and consumer tastes. You have not disproced my argument, and I have neither time nor space to even argue

This is a hobby blog. I don’t have the time, nor the desire to write a thesis in argument. You want to argue free market economics go post on splinter. I enjoy cars as a method of escaping self-righteous assholes like yourself. I have a job. I can’t write an economic thesis for you.

Facts?

I’m sure you are familiar with occam’s razor? Product lifecycle is the first thing they teach you in business, and it fits every criteria. Get your commie bullshit out of here.

If anything, I am more offended by how piss poor the division 1 was

Cars are now appliances. the market is mature, and you are seeing a decline in consumer interest, a consolidation in companies, and a drop in profit margins to the point that no real risk can be afforded. Differences between brands and products is moving towards being entirely cosmetic.

Welcome to business.

Simple, a hot wheels movie wouldn’t make it past the conceptual stage to be greenlit. That would make it good.

There seems to be an echo around here

Direct injection engines have a habit of sounding clattery, like diesels.

Fuck it, let’s put models out of work for some reason.

No. no they are not. I would further that the shareholders are occasionally right

The shareholders. And frankly, their opinion is the only one that matters.

Mind you, the qualifier was % of cars without any problems, not % of problems overall. Chevys could still have more problems on average but the particular instance of "perfect" cars is less. Also, 3 years I better not replace any damn parts or you failed, its not a good measure of reliability,  only factory defects.
