Mercedes is taking the “darwin awards” approach, which I find interesting.

Maybe it’s that soy based wiring insulation that the Japanese were using for awhile. It attracts squirrels, why not dogs?

I had a Porsche 944 my senior year. I lost coolest car to some jock db who’s daddy bought him a Land Rover. Philistines.

Instinct says no, I would bet money that they fucked up and built too many during the summer. Looks like now is a great time to buy a mustang though.

Thanks for actually doing some research. Weird, it’s almost as if this big development is actually a complete non-issue.

my guess since no rear spoiler is facelift. we already have the SV, so pretty much the only heritage-type model they could do would be the gt:

The real question is (and I can’t answer since I am american) will anyone actually buy this? seems like an odd partnership

The issue isn’t morality, it’s dodging lawsuits. If you run someone over, it’s an accident. If a robot runs someone over, it’s a threat to public safety and somebody should pay. You could probably sue a person for hundreds of thousands, you can sue a company for hundreds of millions. It just adds to the fact that a

personally, I think the IDX has ham-fisted retro styling like the new camaro. those bodystyles dont work with the new safety regs, everything just looks chunky. they need to bring back the late-300zx bodystyle

dear mustang owners: you must cease rotational inertia before a peel-out can be attempted.

I haven’t driven one, but I didn’t get the impression that the handling was that bad. most compared it favorably to the 350z which was decently outdated when it was introduced.

ehh, I dont necessarily think so. the gtr is an AWD 600hp supercar. I am talking about a mid range 500hp rwd car. I understand your thinking though.

hell, there are plenty of larger N/A engines that are getting better mileage than smaller turbos. It is a great time to be alive.

who would have thought that big displacement V8s would be back with such a vengance? Its like 1969 all over again. The z has traditionally been more expensive than the competition, but I feel that it is more the halo effect that sells cars, and the top teir 370z nismo can’t even smoke a mustang gt. I don’t think they

ehh I liked their interior. weight reduction is awesome but they won’t be able to do that until the next model, and it tends to be much more expensive than throwing horsepower at something. They should definetly do it, I think it would just be more realistic to add turbos. the average consumer is much more focused on

I dont think they need to drop the price, I think they need to give the engine a kick in the ass. It isn’t like nissan hasn’t done a factory turbo z before. or even a twin turbo. if you assume that a turbo kit costs ~ $5,000 give or take I can assume that they could put a car out at like $37,000~$42,000 that would be

The problem with the 370 isn’t that it is a bad car, it is that it is relatively uncompetetive with what most people are buying, which is muscle cars. just as a quick look, at 30,000$ base the z makes 332 hp and has a 5.1 0-60 time (according to car and driver) versus a $32,000 mustang GT that makes 435 horsepower

Ill wait and see. but this + koenigsegg’s camless technology excites me for the future of dino-munching engines.

They definetly benefited from fiat tech and parts. I am speaking more generally: Dodge and Jeep make products aimed almost solely at american buyers, the dart having failed from what I understand. I don’t know how the renegade fits in with sales. It is more the intended audience I am concerned with than who built

I don’t really think corporate policy is the same as Italian design. There are Americans designing these cars, in America. The difference is that while dodge insists on making big, aggressive, rwd cars while giving their economy cars little effort, ford has 2 different four door hatches, a new focus on more efficient
