I just read Snotgirl, the Brian Lee OMalley comic, which has a very similar premise. But he clearly loathes this type of person and the writing shows it. It’s a poor satire of this culture, you care nothing for the characters. This sounds much better.

I would just like to point out that they describe Tiffany’s friends situation as a “botched act of heroism”. He jumped into a pool when a girl fell of a flamingo float. Now they didn’t clarify it was a girl but I’m assuming by the use of “heroism”. I’m sure she wouldn’t have been able to, say, swim out on her own.…
