After the whole debacle with the Suzuki (Samurai) they’ve lost all their credibility to me. I find it crazy people still put so much trust in a company that goes so out of their way and go about telling lies just so they can slander a product they don’t like.

That’s a Renault Sport Spider, a 90's convertible. I never knew they actually produced and sold this, I always thought it was a concept car.

Errrmm...

Of course! And since I have a different opinion than you I obviously must be a ‘libtard’ that wants the goverment to mandate everything. Definitely after I didn’t type anything like

It’s literally 5 bucks to have the option, you can always burn to death while not being slammed unconscious because you weren’t able to break the window on your own. Most also have a seatbelt cutter in the handle in case the seatbelt is stuck or unreachable, which happens at times.

Why you always want one of these in your car, no matter what you drive...

If you could find one that is well kept and not ruined by the stancers or ricers.

Fixed the title for ya...

Djeezus, I think this is the largest ‘near story’ I’ve read here so far...

Story time!

That sounds awesome, wish you all the luck with that! I hope one day I can too, although my misses is the one with the fitting credentials for the Japanese work environment.

I know and yes you are correct, it’s also why I wrote it to be a ‘small mistake’, because in essence you are not wrong.

Parking space isn’t a problem in rural Japan, yet even there the price difference remains the same in those parts of the country. The demand for kei cars just outweighs that of the larger vehicles, domestically made or not.

Well the problem is quite simple. What people in the US expect from a car is just so different from the EU. For non-car people in the US it’s all about having tons of space and a having a large car, while in Europe it’s all about fuel consumption and smaller taxes. You don’t need to be a genius to figure out that

Well but if Vauxhall and Opel are seen as GM’s optimised brands, than they are selling well in Europe and then we can conclude that in essence there isn’t a problem? Also, Opels and Vauxhalls aren’t imported, they’re build around the EU mostly, which is the point of this article right? (or am I wrong?)

Well, Chevrolet has made a few ‘EU optimized’ cars and you barely see them around. Not car enthousiasts don’t wants these because even the EU optimised cars use more fuel than EU cars and cost a lot more to maintain compared to, let’s say a VW or a Renault.

The author made a small mistake only talking about foreign cars having a low resale value. The thing is that anything other than a Kei car in Japan is has a lower resale value...

Sorry, I had to exploit the chance...

From your description I would say someone did write ‘penis’, but in morse code

“...and graffiti where schoolchildren carved their initials in the aluminum finish”
