When my windshield got a crack in it, I was actually able to get the repair shop to swap my normal non-tinted windshield for one with the blue sunshield strip. The guy putting it on at Safelite actually asked me if I really wanted it since it didn’t match the original, and I told him I considered it an upgrade.
