You're right about iOS/inter-app communication but Lastpass doesn't require copy and pasting if you use their bookmarklets. That's what I do on iOS with Chrome without having to jump into a different browser - everything stays in Chrome.

This is actually not true at all. LastPass on IOS DOES have a built in browser.
